Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to add this feature:
Step 1: Visit here to start configuring your WhatsApp Chat.
Step 2: Click on the WhatsApp Icon and enter your WhatsApp number along with its country code.
Step 3: Customize your chat button. You can select a custom color, define the button’s position (left or right bottom corner of your webpages), and type a short call-to-action message like “Hi! Let’s WhatsApp”.
Step 4: Enter your email address under the “Add the code to your website” section. A JavaScript code will be generated. Copy this code.
To activate the WhatsApp chat on your WordPress website, you need to paste this code before the </body> tag on every page of your website. If this seems complicated, don’t worry. We’ll use a free plugin to simplify this process.
Go to Plugins > Add New > search for “Insert Headers and Footers”. Install and activate the plugin. Once activated, you’ll find a new option under the “Settings” tab.
